For me the PSCS blurring seems a bit heavy handed at times and too arificial looking. Not blended well. Edge Feathering off?

The Macro shots themselves are aewsome!

Don no artificial bluring used at all- that's the DOF you get at 2:1 at F9

I guess I haven't done enough of that kind of shot. Hadn't seen drop off like that before.

One of the major problems with macrophotography is DOF - literally at 5:1 magnification this can be as low as 0.05mm - great for creamy bokeh but not much good for the subject

I love jumping spiders, they remind me of Crabs on a beach the way they move around with their front legs up.

When they do that begging thing they look soooooo cute.

The last one is my favourite Brian

I have seen a few jumping spiders around, but heck they are so fast,
I can rarely get near one before it takes off.
