I like it. The low perspective is nice. And the silouetted figures convey a peaceful feeling. Not sure (i'm still a part-time hack), but I think a bit more intensity in the sky's blue might be good.

He was actually asleep in the car.

Do you think I should be cropping it more on the left, so the railings each side are more symmetrical?

This has been suggested to me, as has making the silhouettes of the people darker.
