You are correct, Death Valley. Most don't know that there is year around water in death Valley. The first shot is at Salt Springs. The water is very salty and can be 5 times more concentrated than the ocean and 90f. There is a fish, (the devils hole pup fish) that has adapted and is the only fish in the world that can survive in this water.
When I was there I saw lots of coyote tracks by the water so I think they can drink it, but I don't have any conformation on that.
Bad Water also has a small puddle of water, but is four times saltier than the ocean, hence the name.
There is Darwin Falls with a year around water fall, as well as water at Scotties Castle.
Stove Pipe Wells also has water but not above ground.
There is water, and there is life. I highly recommend it in spring, fall or winter. Don't look for me there in the summer.
