It's an oil beetle -I only see them in the spring. By this summer they will be in heavy vegetation and out of my reach...

Wow that first guy looks a bit of a monster, very metalic looking,,
kinda makes you wanna see if a magnet would stick to him hehehe
These are all amazing John, can't really pick just one, I like all of them
Excellent Series John, I'm doing reno's, and they are about to start again in about 3 weeks time, so my gear is all packed away till it's over.
The mess is unbelievable, but it will be all finished soon, then I can get out and play.
