short time lurker - first time poster

Hey everyone, after some encouragement to join smugmug/dgrin here I am!
I'm really into macro photography and have a canon 100mm 2.8 lens with a 400d slr body.
Please - any comments much appreciated as it's how one learns.

    Nice shot but think it would have been better with the entire curve of the stem in view ?

    I took a couple with the full curve - I'll post them later. I thought this one looked more 'arty' for want of a better word.

    The Canon 100mm 2.8 remains one of my most favourite lenses too.

    Nice and sharp image, lovely colours, and I like your background too.
    Now you have to make sure you keep posting or Gus will be on your back hahahaha rolleyes1.gif
