Howling Wolf
Finally got some good weather and gave my new 80-400VR lens a test drive at the zoo last weekend. I was thrilled to get this picture of one of their Gray Wolves howling before he settled in to nap the rest of the day in the balmy 39 degree sunshine.
This was taken at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, New York.

Thanks! It had been cold the last couple of weeks so his coat was in prime condition. This was the first time I had heard a wolf howl in person. It was a real treat.
