The Deer Fly

For those of you that have not seen one of these Fly's they are about 1 inch(25mm) long and drink the blood of animals( V.V. Nasty Bite) . I have taken many macros of this fly but this is the only one that produced this eye pattern with the light reflection.

    Why is the little emoticon crying? Did you kill the deerfly? They are colorful eyes.

    I used the Sony 828
    [With 250D , need to try out the 20D and 100mm macro next time i bump into one.

    Do get a chance and shoot with the 20D and 100 macro.Slap the 250d on it cause I would love to see the results.I have all but the 250d and my macros are so so.
