Mt. Shuksan and Picture Lake

As I'm sitting here, spending hours and hours going through last years photos and deciding which ones to upload to Jungle Disk (cool service btw) and which ones to toss, I came across one of my favorite photos from last October. I never got around to post-processing it like I wanted to, and since I have plenty of time (Bridge is so SLOW!), I decided to rework it (mostly to remove distracting elements, and some minor signs of human presence).
The shot is of Mt. Shuksan, which is located right across from the Mt. Baker ski area 50 miles (or so) east of Bellingham, WA. I got to the lake at 9AM, and it was overcast until about 3PM, and which point the sky transitioned to clear, this photo was taken during that (pretty brief) transition (I had a polarizer and the sun was almost 90 degrees away). This is a well-known place to take photos, but it was the first time I had been there (and I haven't been back yet, but it's on my list!).
