However, I would darken the background. It would make the face to pop a bit.
How would I do such a job ?
Creat a new layer, Multiply, adjust to 30/40 %, mask, erase face to see underneath.
If you work with raw it is easier ...
Something like this (I can't do better but I was meaning a not so bright background...)
