I watched this snowy egret for fifteen minutes and each time it struck the water it came up with a shrimp in it's mouth. Amazing.

Have fun,

Phil

Hi.. Very nice capture. Snowy E's are excellent and very aggressive hunters. Herons will stand the for an hour waiting, Snowy's will run and chase what they see. If you see them fishing in a group they are all over the place.

Yes, snowy egrets don't mess around when it comes to eating. The most fun to watch are the reddish egrets when they dance around with their wings spread out catching dinner. Thanks for the comment.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
