Went to the zoo today for some relaxation but it was very cloudy and spinkled a bit. Had to use the flash as I couldn't get eough light without going like ISO 3200 or something like that with the bigma. At least with the cooler temp and no sun the animals were much more active at mid day.

Anyway,
1. Hippo peaking out from the water.

2. baby giraffee enjoying chewing on a stick.

3. Not sure I like this, so I didn't really work on the image, but I like the silly look.

4. You wanna know why the lion has his tongue hanging out?

5. Here is the reason why.

Nice series. Even though I read the caption, I really had to look at that first one to figure out what it was. That is a very interesting picture to me. Any viewer would have to linger over it (just as I did). I'm not sure I ever would have figured out it was, but it is unique and attention-getting.

I also like the lion with the tip of his tongue hanging out. Perhaps he thought you were dinner?! :giggle

Nice series but I especially love number 4! It sort of shows the lion's playful side.

Hi Tee, Very nice photos. I really like #3. The goofy look is great, I wouldn't write it off.

I've got to agree, the Hippo shot is superb. I rarely see them actually in the water there for some reason. Nice seeing the lions actually *do* something, heh?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
