    Have to admit I didn't spot the other bug until I was processing so a lot of luck involved :)

    Ivar- fairly sure "David" is a baby detritus mite. They adults are normally around 1mm in diameter not the 0.12mm that bug works out at.

    This is one of my favourite aspects of macro! On a much less impressive scale, I once spent an hour getting shots of bees and drone flies collecting pollen from blossoms, and it was only afterwards that I figured out why the drone flies weren't moving that much (crab spiders...obviously they could work out which ones stung and which didn't)

    Fantastic shot! And the magnification is making me jealous...

    Sylar was taken with the MPE-65 but at 3:1 and hand focus stacked (just the louse)
