Sunrise seagulls

Yesterday, myself and some friends from work met up before sunrise at Fernandina Beach, FL. The sunrise was beautiful and I got some pictures of seagulls. Let me know what you think of them.

#1 Just before the sun rose over the ocean. There were some street lights behind me that gave a redish glow to the sand.

#2 Once the sun rose I got down on the sand and took a couple of a gull that was standing on the top of a hill.

#4 I caught a flock soaring around the sun

Thanks, actually I got the idea of getting low from looking at other pictures here on DGRINS. This is an excellent teaching tool.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I like the tight and vertical composition of the thrid shot the best.

Thanks Buddy, Harry and Tee Why. The single gull is the exact shot that I was looking for. There is also one other shot that I took at Fort Clinch that is not for this forum but was a sillouette of a civil war soldier against the sky that was exactly what I was looking for. It makes you feel good to get what you want every once in a while instead of looking at your pics and saying "I like that one and it was luck"
