Love the posting and expressions - and the bare feet!

From my monitor - not calibrated - contrast is a bit off on the faces - an easy fix.

agreed with chatkat, but this is an adorable photo! Love the palm, the framing, very nice composition and those kids are just too cute!

Not sure if this is any better....
The white in her hat has some blown areas. I may have that fixed a little better in the second monotone version. I had tried to brighten the faces in the originally posted image...maybe to a fault.

    The color version-

Another monotone try.....this one with more contrast and saturation.

Very cute kids and a lovely photo! That color shot is VERY nice! Adorable kiddos. My own personal taste is to add some warmth to the B&W. I think the first one had warmth and the second one got even warmer. I like them both, but I think I actually prefer the tones of the first one. However, I do agree that the faces and lighter clothing needed a touch more contrast. (Maybe even just a touch more?) :D

    Beautiful shot! clap.gif

Maybe a bit of buring in on the BW or the Sepia is better. The color one is better in my opinion.

I agree the color is better. I may have flattened the shadows on their faces a bit to much with the fill flash. I was trying to be sure I had enough light under that hat.

    Thanks for taking a look!!
