Hi there,

what about allowing more html-tags in the bio? I'm especially talking about <img>-tag. That would allow the graphic-smily-lovers to include some of their favorites and the pros who can create infinite bios could even more customize their pages. :D
At the moment I can't think of other tags, but maybe someone else comes up with some ideas.
The selfish main reason for putting up this request is that I would like to get some more detailed stats about who vitits my page when and from where. Therefore I would like to include an external image for statistic reasons. Yeah, I know I could do this as a poweruser with cobranding, but I won't be able to upgrade in the near future...I'm still on a tight budget as a student and already spent way to much on my hobby! :rofl And hey, it would be only for the main page as I'm only able to create one bio. :wink I really like to have those graphic smilies in my bio, too. :D

Thanks for listening! What do the others stuck-with-basic-accounts (+pros who want more graphics in their bios) here think about this?

    Sebastian,

one method you could use to get around this, is to create a new album with no images (lock it down to a certain style), and then in the description field you can use more html elements so you can embed images etc. Then in the original bio field, put a link to the new album.

    Hope this helps,

    David

    David,
that was a wonderful idea. I never thought of that I could put a img-tag into a gallery description.
It works everywhere, except for my startpage. When I feature this gallery, the img-tag is stripped out from the description.
I guess this is done by design and SM has probably their reasons for not allowing this.

Nevertheless I still would like to have the possebility to put a img-tag somewhere on the startpage! mwink.gif

Thanks David for your enlightening idea!clap.gif
