A Good Morning Walk...(raptors)...

Turned out to be a good morning to get up early and go hunt for bald eagles, which I've never really gotten close to.

Had an idea it might be a good day when 30 seconds after entering the park drive, this guy was sitting in the post-dawn light...

then, a minute or so later, this guy flew by....

And to top it all off, on the way back, i got this guy....

i have to admit, i fixed the wing on this one by extending the canvas...first time i tried that - after reading about it here quite a while ago...

Hope you enjoyed - here's the last.....Regards...Keith

    Thanks, Jeff...
I even met a fellow photog out with his dog and a ID Mark III - not like my humble 30D, but he was using the same lens as me - the 400mm f/5.6. Not a nikon to be seen...mwink.gif

    regards...Keith

Those are amazing. We have several hawks here by the house by the creek. I am so jealous of bird shots like these. Mine pose for me, then bail right before I have everything set.
My new challenge is birds. They are not an easy subject, but when you get it, it is awesome.

    Good job clap.gif
