Very nice - I'm always amazed at peoples reaction to dying flowers - "they are awful" etc - but I disagree. As you have demonstrated so beautifully - there is a lot to see, great textures, different hues of the same colour etc.
Nice work.
What 'magnification' (not sure if that is the right word) did you have this at?? eg 1:1 2:1 3:1 ETC

Agree with you but you often need a macro lens to see the beauty - Hibiscus flowers are also good for colour and textures. Think I was shooting at 1:1 for these - just the flower head on a white sheet of paper on a windowsill.

Some shots of Iris petals just starting to shrivel. Natural light - focus stacked.

Why is it that no matter what it is you shoot Brian,
it always look freaking awesome ??? :ivar
My favourite is that first shot, if you had of posted that shot by itself,
I would never have picked it for a flower, it looks like material wrapped fairly evenly around something that has wire in it.
.....and I'm going to ask... are these stacked??
Yup I still sit in awe of your incredible Macro's Brian ... Skippy

Thanks for the comments Kevin and Skippy
Skippy- yes they are focus stacked - I was shooting around F6.3 for these.
No not all the shots I take are good- I don't post the ones that don't work, but I take a lot of shots
Very nice, Lord V! The fourth one is the best one, in my opinion. It has a certail flow to it - like a wave in the ocean. And the splash of yellow on the edge adds a subtle punch to the image. It is absolutely beautiful.
