I am continuing my practice with this lens and have taken four screw shots. The first one is a half inch screw and the other three are of a quarter inch screw.

I really appreciate what you and Brian are saying. I haven't mastered this yet. To think about stacking I have'nt got a clue. Please help as I would love to know. I have just ordered a right angle bracket with a vertical & horizontal flash shoe together with a diffuser for my 580 flash
    Cheers Bob & Jan

Thanks ever so much Skip for giving me Brian's stacking thread.
Well I have just completed my first stack. I did three shots of the screw and then followed the instructions. I am sure with more practice I will master it. I have read Dalentech's tutorials and I am sure the results will be better when I receive the right angle bracket and flash diffuser. Here is the stacked shot:-

Thanks again For all your kind words and reassurance you have given me to get this far, as you and Brian are both worth your weight in gold and I am sure everyone on this Forum would agree with me.
    Cheers
