Uploading avatar is failing

When I try to upload my avatar, it says upload of file failed. My avatar is 70X75 and only 4KB.

EDIT: Oops, there it is! So it's there even though it said the upload failed...hm...

    i got the same thing. Invalid URL when trying to link. and an upload error when i uploaded. Thanks John

    I'm also getting "Invalid URL" and no avatar. The one I want to use is on Smugmug and it's 75x61 pixels, 1.4k.

    Also, my location won't show up by my name and info in threads.

    I've heard from more people that they have issues with the avatar when they use the direct linking, although it has always worked fine for me ne_nau.gif Try saving the image locally first and uploading it, that should work.

    The location is a VB bug, add more info to your profile (I think dream goodies does the trick?)
