Early morning shoot - First time out with my new Canon 400mm DO lens. These were all taken without a tripod...I was standing and held the camara. The sharpness should only improve when I mount a monopod or tripod.
Hope you enjoy them.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
I tried a monopod with the 400mm DO lens and it did make a difference.
Here is a sample.
