Thanks guys. This picture actually turned out to be better than expected.
I didn't have to play around with saturation etc.,
Just minor contrast enhancement in curves and simple USM did the trick

You could try to make desktop pattern out of this one, although it may need to be desaturated a bit for that purpose. Regardless, nicely done !
