Noon Day Sun
Yesterday while walking around a beach lighthouse near Santa Cruz, a young guy asked if I would take some photos of his girlfriend, Who is trying to develop a photography portfolio.
Taking photos in bright noon day sun is definitely a challenge, so I said I would try. I did find out the Canon 580 EX won't overpower the sun. I guess I need to buy the nuclear model.
Also chimping is almost impossible. The LCD is totally useless, and I could barley see some of the histogram.
Here are three results.

like this shot! has energy and determination. the other ones, while technically good are a bit more standard and thus less energetic IMO

You don't need the nuclear model...your flash worked jut fine....it certainly softened those otherwise harsh shadows! Good choice!
