    Cool! What did you do for the white background? I also have to comment on what I'd have to call an unusual choice of lens, nice results though!

    I think the choice of a white background was perfect. It works wonderfully. Great job!

    I totally LOVE iloveyou.gif orchards - nice photo.
    I also really like the angle this was taken on - not the usual 'front on' photos.

    This is a really nice shot David.
    It's a very unusual shape, and those colours look hand painted,
    like a felt tip pen bleeds into paper that is porous.

    The white background is actually a folded light tent that I held - the longer exposure eliminated any wrinkles as I didn't hold steady (on purpose).

    The lens combo is great. the 17-40 is sharp, and the tube allows one to convert to macro mode. I only have one true "macro lens", the MPE-65.
