FYI: B&H has the 17-55 back in stock

Just got the email that they have the Canon EF-S 17-55 F/2.8 IS USM back in stock for $999. Just letting you all know if you're looking to buy one from them since they've been out of stock for nearly a month.

    I got mine for $930 that included shipping and a hood.....also from B&H

    I waited for this for so long.... and then I found one used! I still need a hood, though...

    If you're in the U.S. you might as well get used to it. Our economy has been Friedmanized and the U.S. dollar is weaker than it has been in decades.

    Chris, if you're OK with a non-Canon brand hood there are a *lot* of third party options available for a lot less.
