TWO MONTHS? We started crankin' out soccer last week...ya'll are just too far behind...my daugher announce to me that I now have a new sport to try and learn to shoot - her soccer games. Just got done figuring out how to shoot my son's basketball and did my other son's football last fall...

I think that I am close to being locked into a small (padded) room....wonder if they'd let me keep my gear

Well, we have overnight lows of -10C and about 3 - 6 inches of snow on the ground still....

Here - I'll pull this one out on you - its what I do to my kids (they just roll their eyes for some reason):

"Well, when I was a youngster...we didn't have soccer - we had to play with a ball of yarn and we didn't care if there was snow...we just used black yarn...and we didn't have none of that fancy gear - we played IN OUR BARE FEET and we liked it because we were supposed to!"

Ann, you should do a photo scavenger hunt like we did down here. I felt like I was back in on the shootout with you guys. Driving all over the place, looking out the windows, spotting other shooters, pulling off the side of the road and getting up at 4am to shoot sunrises in negative C temps.



Are you doing a pre or post shootout? I haven't decided what I'm doing yet, but I am going to spend the my last 3 days in Vegas (already paid for *almost free* lodgings).

A colleague asked me today about setting up a group shoot, so maybe I will.

As far as pre or post, not sure yet. Lots up in the air with my job, so will be playing it by ear. As well, the dh is coming on the shootout, so not sure about leaving the kids for that long. DH will definitely be interested in some days in Vegas, while I always like to see something new.
