Huckabee Texas Watch Party

My wife and I went to the Texas Watch Party yesterday for the repulican presidential candidate Former Arkansas Governer Mike Huckabee. We were hopeing he would win Texas so he could stay in the race. Unfortunatly That was not the case. He came unbelievable close and I have to say that no other campaign I have witnessed in my lifetime has been as effective as his with so little resources. I Definitly look forward to seeing him again in 4 years and he will hopefully have the resources to be successful.

Here is how the night unfolded:
we got there around 7 and stood around for a while. I gocked at media peoples nice cameras while holding my trusty canon rebel xt with a nifty fifty and 580 ex flash on it. Saw a guy with a cool hat so I took a picture of it......

Then this came on the screen and I realized this was not good.

So at about 8:15 Mike and his wife came out to speak

As expected Mike is a very effective communicater and he basically thanked everyone for their support and getting him to where he was and ended his campaign for president.

Then I got to shake his hand. My wife took the picture and it didnt quite turn out but still I like it.....
