Hi there folks,

Finally got a day off today, besides doing household chores,
I found a little spider outside.

This little guy was on a dead weed, along with the remains of an Aphid.
The background on this shot just wasn't right,
so I hit it with a plastic wrap filter and here is the result.
Gives it an embossed kind of look.

It's different if nothing else :rofl enjoy .... Skippy :D

Hand held shot, Canon MPE-65 + Ext.Flash almost 3x's life.

Hi there Mike, I don't know what that skin or body was,
there was a heck of a lot of debris on the weed,
lots of stray webbing on it too.

On a closer look it is probably another Aphid shell, with webbing and those little knobby bits off the plant stuck to it.

    Thanks for looking thumb.gif ... Skippy :D

Nice one skippy - not sure about the plastic wrap but then I didn't see the original :).
I often use faded edge detect or neon edge or whatever it's called when I'm not happy with a shot just to see what it does to it.

Neat shot! Sometimes I can't really see exactly what I'm shooting until I get the pics on the computer. Could you tell what the spider was eating with your eyes?

Excellent Skip you certainly haven't lost your touch. That is a wonderful clear shot and I am sure we can expect a lot more interesting shots in the very near future.
I wish I had a few of those wee critters to practice on rather than screws and daffodils.
    Cheers

Thanks folks, I had a look at the weed, the spider isn't there anymore,
but the two things in the shot with the spider are Aphid shells the second one looks like a spider body but it isn't its just part of the plant and webbing entangled across that Shell.

    Thanks for looking thumb.gif .... Skippy :D
