I caught a Damsel fly

I don't believe it - but one of these actually stayed still for me!!! I've been trying to capture on of these where it was in focus all along the body. I never realised how hairy this young lady is.

    I don't see a lot of these, but when I do, they are always in flight,
    rarely ever do I see them settle.

    The tiny hairs are indeed visible in this shot, well done girl thumb.gif

    Thanks Skippy - these are always in flight or the slightest movement and they are off and the few photos that I've tried to take of it have either the head in focus and the body not etc - so to have scored one of the whole thing in focus just blew me away. :D

    Patrick - I use the Canon 100mm macro 1:2.8 usm lens. The only lighting used was the natural light. I've just purchased the macro twin MT-24EX lites to go with the lens - just have to learn how to use it. wings.gif
