Jeff (CarnalSigh) came to do some photos of my son and I. Here is one he has sent me so far. What do you think?

Both Shannon and her baby have great eyes, so I tried to capture them as accurately as possible. I love the expression on Max's face. I got 2 or 3 with him grinning widely. The rest should be just as good.

I sent the picture to my mother and she thought it was the best picture ever taken of me, and couldn't believe the smile Jeff was able to catch on Max's face. He was rather cranky that day rolleyes1.gif

I just love your expression, you not only look like a model, but you emote in front of the camera like one.

    And baby too.

Agreed. Not only does Shannon have a beautiful face, she naturally gave me the neutral gaze I look for in pretty much all of my portraiture.

It's funny....some people simply cannot give a neutral gaze. No matter how hard I try to find a way to get them to look at me with no emotion at all, they either look happy, or angry. They teach that neutral look in modeling schools, but some peeps just do it automatically....like Miss Shannon.

Then there are those whose teeth won't let them do a neutral look without appearing as if they are forcing their lips closed. When I recruit models for TFCD shoots, I want to see several photos of them ahead of time to make sure they don't have too much teefuses. They still sometimes manage to get by me tho. It's very irritating. Peeps with big teeth just can't close their mouth properly and that ruins my whole shoot.

Instead of a show down we should hold a "shoot down" where we get those members near us all together and go on a "group" shoot!! wings.gif Speaking of restless natives....would be scary that many pieces of glass going...bound to be some great shots.

Really...what part of NH? I have friends in Nashua that we drive up to see frequently. Yeah I'm a transplant...originally from FL but with military travel was all over the world. I've been in New England now for about 15 years....love it here...except the "wicked" long winters ;). I spent a lot of time when I was a child in southern GA so I tend to have the drawl at times, especially when I talk with relatives from there. My wife just rolls her eyes since she's from New England originally. Where's hubby from?

There should be some central place that has some great photograhpy areas for groups of "dgrin'ers". lol I used to be stationed at Ft. Monmouth NJ.

That's funny!! Ft. Monmouth is a stone's throw. I grew up in Plaistow, just south of Manchester. Hubby is from NJ
