Ariellah, gothic belly dancer

I have the pleasure of knowing a dancer named Ariellah. She performed in February 2008 at a show called Gothla (the name is a variation of hafla, which means middle eastern dance party), which features gothic-style belly dancing. Ariellah is one of the producers of the show in addition to her role as a featured dancer. I was invited to photograph the show. Here's a picture of Ariellah from that show.

If someone had told me that there was such a thing as Goth belly dancing, I don't think I would have believed it. What an interesting world we live in.
