Using a Hoya Ir 72 filter and my Nikon D40x. The IR effects are not as pronounced as an IR modified cam.
The first is an HDR photo (3 exposures) in color but converted to Black & White & IR in CS2 using Scott Han's workflow.

The major bonus with using a Converted IR cam is that you do not need a tripod to shoot any more you are not limited to slow shutter speeds any more once it's converted.
Your B&W's are my favourites out of all the shots you posted.

Great shots, really enjoyed the B&W image, very nicely done with the processing.
The other shots are, very interesting processing on the color ones, and you achieved some very neat shots.

In the last two, I think I prefer the one with the orange/pink sky, only because I feel it's easier to discern the human figure in the field. I really like the composition of that image! But I do like the treatment of the foliage in the other version.
