Not much color to be had here today, I did several in B&W but this turned out to be my favorite. There were a bunch of kayakers in the river going over a smaller waterfall but I didn't have time to shoot them today. Other than the stupid limbs I'm looking for C&C, Thanks!!!

Yah, silly tree placing itself there! The falls look nice and silky though. Do kayakers go over that big one, too? eek7.gif

Nice photo....such nice white water too.

The tree...they grow where they want to not where we wish they would grow :D

I've never seen any go from the top. I think it would be deadly from up there, but there have been some that drop in from one of the lower ledges. There have been a few folks die from falling from the top due to the slick rocks.

Here's a shot from back in the fall.

From the looks of it, Randy was up near the top left.

The hike going further back has some more interesting areas for some good waterfall shots too.

I grew up around this area and just recently went back for the first time in about 20 years.

Actually I was down on the bottom to the left of your J in your watermark, golly it was cold!!! I did the hike you are talking about nearly 20 years ago with a friend of mine and our 2 little puppy dogs...we wound up carrying them halfway. There are several signs posted on the river at various waterfalls that say..."5 (or whatever number) people have died here". I love your Fall shot!!!
