I agree they are stunning. In fact, they remind me of the excellent owl work done by another Canadian photographer Daniella T. of PBASE fame.

    ...and that...is a huge compliment!!! mwink.gif

    Wow. These are amazing.

We have a great horned nesting near by again - can her them talking in the early evening. One flew right in front of my windshield the night of the lunar eclipse - should have heard me then, no camera, driving at 60k and the freakin owl flies into the eclipsing moon!!!!!

    Again, fabulous set!!!

Terrific shot! (But your avatar scares merolleyes1.gif ) They're all really amazing but I loooove the snowy owl shots.

The great grey owl is kind of funny looking, it's got a fro. It's amazing to me that you saw all these guys in great light. I saw some at the Calgary Zoo, but I've only seen one owl in the "wild" and that was at night.

Again, great shots and thanks for posting!!

Next time you come to florida will you consider doing a sharpness and clarity " how to achieve sharp focus" workshop. I can never track and get such sharp images. inspired yet again.

where do you all track these gorgeous birds? it's like there are tons of them but i've never seen one in my life. do you just like sit there 'til one comes around, or find one's nest and hang around? I don't get it but it's awesome.

That snowy owl is the most beautiful bird i've ever seen, hands down

    awesome captures bowdown.gif
