I've been working up the nerve to get a tattoo by visiting the local tattoo show. Also, I love taking pictures of people, and the people at tattoo shows are natural hams for the camera.
In July of 2007, I wandered around the show, asking these colorful people to show me their tattoos. It's amazing to me that oftentimes they will just uncover them and show them off, wherever they might be. This colorful lady was more modest than most...

As for getting one, find something you love, and go for it. My daughter use to be the same way then she got one and has about 6.
