White speckles in slideshow

I have a slideshow on my homepage. I recently noticed that a few of the photos in my slideshow have white speckles on them. It looks like some of the pixels are missing.

Here is a screen shot. There are white speckles on the lower portion of the tree. The original photo doesn't have the white speckles on it. I wonder what is causing this?

You have the old javascript slideshow, which is no longer supported

Switch to the new hotness of Shizam's flash slideshow and you'll have no more white spots (that's an IE problem).
