Spent a couple hours Saturday trying to get a good animal shot.
Let me know what you think

You succeeded in getting good shots. clap.gif #2 and #3 are especially good. #1 is excellent also but the blown out portions of the rock under the bear are distracting. On the last shot I would have framed it or cropped it to remove the foreground vegetation and water. I would have also framed/cropped it so that the zebras are more to the left of the frame. That would give you fewer distracting elements and a clearer horizon line running left to right on the image.

Very well done. All have wonderful saturation of color and I really like the comp of number 1 along with the "look" the bear is giving. Number is pleasing to me because I like the wide angle and because it is a bit surreal with African savannah animals in what looks like a temperate forest with deciduous trees.

Love the picture of the bear, and the shot of the Africa area has great colors...but...where are the giraffes? :D

Excellent shots. 1, 2, & 3 are tops. #4 has a little too much going on in the foreground. I can't believe that I never went to the NC zoo during the years I lived down there.
