I'm so stocked!!!!:barb
They saw me at LA Fashion Week, saw the results, and now they called me and want me to do a model shoot which will be used as a prop in a show. They demand exclusive rights.
I will try to explore that tonight, but in the mean time - what the current rate for something like that? Anybody can tell me a ballpark figure so I at least would know that the playing field is?

I got some very good advice from a pro who does that for a living, hopefully it'll work out!
Some of the key factors they mention are:
What is the time frame (duration of the shoot, an hour, a day, a week?)
How many subjects (models)?
How many poses?
Will they supply the models, or an agency, or you?
Can you bring an assistant?
What will the usage be (minor prop, major prop, plot, promotion, etc).
The program may be a little pricey but it may be worth looking into for this kind of job. You can Google FotoQuote to find their site.
I Hope this helps a little.

I knida doubt that. I had a chance to speak with the "in" guy, it doesn't look like this gonna happen. But a nice paid gig and a potential long term, rich and famous client is sure a goal to pursue...
It's kinda funny how it happens. I do honestly believe that the stuff I shot during the reenactments, for instance, let alone in Utah/Montana, is WAY more interesting than my catwalk snapshots.
But I guess you goota go into the Hollywood itself to get noticed...
Oh well, tonight is another show, will try to go for f/4 :-)
Thank you for the good luck wish, I need it!
And of course, I let you guys know what happens - even if, as I suspect, it's gonna be yet another cold lead...
