Hotshoe Mounts

I've finally splurged on an off-camera dual strobe setup and am currently using the plastic stands that come with the 580EXII to attached to the strobe to my umbrella adaptor on the stands. As they are plastic, they seem really flimsy and I'm worried about them breaking off and my new 580EX II's plummetting to earth.

Does anyone knkow where I can get just the hotshoe mount adaptors or something similar with metal screw threads and are also solid?

Thanks/Peter

I've used www.flashzebra.com in the past and they have some nice stuff. It is a small business started by a guy who knows alot about strobe photography and wanted to offer a stronger more durable line of flash products.

This might be what your looking for:

I got mine from ebay. Look in the Photography -> Studio -> Accessories
department. They are called Flash Hotshoe Adapter or similar. There
are a couple of noname as well as brand products. Usualy. Another
source is Hama. They make Hotshoe 2 Spigot adapters etc. ReallyRightStuff
makes a Coldshoe Adapter for ArcaSwiss Clamps if you're into Acraswiss.
