Silhouette in Oban, Scotland

Looking at Vycor’s firemen silhouettes in another post, I remembered I had a similar picture somewhere.
In 2006 we had a motorcycle vacation in Scotland. With “we” I mean myself, about 20 other motorcyclists and a support van that took all the tents and food. It was driven by our cook and his wife. One of the places we visited was Oban and of course its distillery. Those of you who like single malt whisky will know Oban.
This is a picture of our cook taken with a Sony DSC-P200 in the Oban distillery museum. The only thing I changed on the camera was to prevent the flash firing. Quality is not that good, but it’s a picture that brings back some good memories of the time we spent in Scotland.
The tour of the distillery was very interesting. (If you are ever in Oban, it is really worth a visit.) It was not allowed to take pictures (or use a cell phone) in the distillery itself. Not to protect any secrets, but because of the risk of explosion due to alcohol fumes. Yes, you could get drunk just by staying in there too long ….:wink
A part of heaven for those who love whisky:

My Grandfather loves to drink Scotch, and I'm sure he used to get a brand that's trade mark was two little Scotti Dogs hung around the neck of the bottle .... does that sound right?
I remember those little plastic dogs cause being kids we used to fight over who was getting the next pair of dog when we visited again
Shows you how much I know about alcohol I like soda water, but that doesn't really count hu?
Your silhouette shot worked fine, love the Blue Stone Brick work of the distillery... what a great way to tour, via motorbike,
my brother and his wife would love that, they are both heavily involved in the Ulysses Motor Cycle Club here in Australia,
he is affectionately known as CupCake
Glad you had a great time .... Skippy
