Daffodil & Rain

Preston, as usually, is wet today. I looked out of the window and the garden was glum and the overcast gunmetal grey skies were - yes - depressing. But in the garden I saw two bright spots...
The picnic table looked like it was almost glowing despite it being brown, and the daffs in the tubs were strong and the yellow was loud and shouting out.
So I combined the two together and put a daffodil onto the wet table and this is what I came up with. I like it a lot actually. Simple and subtle yet colourful enough considering the palette of 2 main colours.
WDYT?
Frame is for effect.. It's on my website without the frame in case some bugger really does like it! Hehehe.

I also noticed that you've done some extra pp in that there seems to be the illusion of it raining very faintly with the lines going from the top to the bottom of the pic. Nice one.
