Seriously though, I can only think UV filter, you are, after all, getting closer to your subjects, which can be messy, than any other type of photography. Maybe a circular polarizer for some specialized subjects

I never use a filter for macro apart from a little use of a circular polariser. Think if you are thinking of lens protection then there are coated plain glass protectors around.
