I had the morning off the other day so despite the cold weather and grey skies I headed out to the the local Zoo. The Africa section was "open" even though most of the animals were not out. However I did happen upon an animal enrichment sesssion with the cheatahs. So the cats can experience other animals and scents keeper bring other animals arround and let them interact with the safety of the pen seperating them. This time they brought a pair of goats to the cheetah enclosure. The cats went nuts. The keeper was mildly worried that they might try and jump the fence.

The first shot is a before and the second is durring the enrichment

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thank you everyone for the comments. The second one was not up to my usual par I still had my long lens on and had to make do or miss all of it switching lenses.

The goats were very brave if releluctant. Batman, the goat in the photo, did make a mess on the side walk when he saw the cheetahs though. The poor goats had just come from visiting the leapord too.

Here is a better close up from the series.
