    Its used to decapitate the small heads of garden Gnomes....JK

    I believe it is used to cut Hay and or grains, towed behind the tractor.

    Nice Photo, like the depth of field!

    Looks more like the sidebar attachment use along highways to do the verge. Need more detail to be sure.
