Evening Krokus

its finally warm enough here for me to get outside and play with my macro lens. i only bought it a few months ago so i havent had any opportunities to go outside and take macro shots.

here is a soft and somewhat dreamy photo of a krokus that is starting to bloom in our yard.

    Wonderful picture, the dreamy quality really makes the picture!

    I'm happy you're out and about with your new toy, mine's still in the mail, here's hoping I can break it in as well as you have here!

    The actual flower head is not unlike a Tulip in shape.

    thanks everyone. i noticed yesterday, right before it began to rain, that we also have some purple and white ones coming up. i wonder how photogenic they will be. :)
