Still stuck in the cold until my vaction finally arrives at the end of this month. This is the first time I've posted a shot in a while, but I have been following all the great work here:clap

40D with Canon 600 f4 non IS @ f4 no tripod just rested on a stump:D

    Thanks Jeff! Its for sure an upgrade in weight and difficulty without the IS...but rewarding as it has forced me to try and develop some long lens technique and to better plan/pre visualize my shots.

    Heres one using some stalking and the 100-400 IS

    I love the snow in the first one, but the second is far superior, if only for the clarity. Very cool shots!
