When I saw this guy, I thought of Harry and his, ah, obsesion? with such things, soo................. Undaunted by the heights and danger, I proceeded to climb and scramble to get the shot. If only I had one of those 1200 mm lenses with a 5X converter, sigh, but no matter I press on. So here in all his magnificence, is the rare California Cliff Gull.

The approch:

    Sam,
You are soo lucky!!!!!!!!......and to see one in daylight! Once a year or so down here i get to see one, but I usually have to fight through the crowd.
You got yours alone, all by it's self. WHOAH!

hey maybe you can help....I think I got one sneaking in after dark one day..........
.........do you think this could possibly be the same kind of bird?

    headscratch.gifne_nau.gif I know it's a silhouette...best I could do...how lucky I'd be........whatdoyathink?

It's not an egret is it?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
