I like your approach with this. The only issue I have with it is that the in-focus twigs draw my attention away from the OOF parts that are critical to the scene.
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

A very creative and dynamic comoposition.
I wish the dof was bigger so the rails in the foreground is in focus as well.

Yeah I second that. That got me too, but I don't have a professional eye

It's amazing what "goofing around" can sometimes produce. Two thumbs up! thumb.gifthumb.gif

I'll be honest - the first time I saw this I didn't like it for some reason. Maybe it was the laptop monitor I was using at that time.

Now, at home, I look again and it appears much better. I now think that this is indeed a cool shot. thumb.gif

I'll do a reshoot sometime and change the DOF to do that. This shot was literally I knelt down and poped two quick shots and this was the better of the two. There was really no pre-planning.

Thank you for your kind words. I really am spontaneous a lot of the times...I see something and it triggers this little alarm saying hey..you know that would be a cool shot.
