Love these type of Macros (again, who wouldn't :D), eyes are great, color good, exp. right on. My only nit is the OOF on his nose, or is it his nose? headscratch.gifD.

Thanks guys. Here is one more. I had to work on some distracting background elements. Does it show? The DOF is better on this one.

    Is it true headscratch.gif
Did he turn in to a Prince :lol4

Don't tell me you didn't give it a try rolleyes1.gif

I like the DOF on this image, that's the annoying thing with Macro...... trying to get as much as you can in focus, and it's not easy to do at all, I struggle with DOF too.

Frogs are great to photograph if you can hold of one, and not have to shoot it behind glass........ I love the Eyes, the Eyes say it all :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone! I think I'll print my son a large print for his room. He's really into reptiles these days.

Very Nice, I also prefer the second image.
    Bob's Rule of thirds:
"One third of the time I'm right, one third of the time I'm wrong, and one third of time it does not matter...so for the majority of time, my opinion should be ignored."

I really like the second one. Maybe a little mo DOF so all of him is in focus.
