Hi Every One , Have Been Lurking For A Few Months, Looking At All Your Amazing Photos, Especially Brians . Finaly Got 100mm Canon Macro Couple Weeks Ago. This Is My First Bug Shot, I Am Used To Landscapes Which Have Never Needed Flash As They Dont Move! Only Got 5 Shots Off Before It Flew Off.
I Think I Need Help With Flash?

Ah, now that's a Bug! I like the simple single color flower petal background. Nice sutble bokeh on it, too.

Love the way you can really feel the shape of the petal, it's like the world's smallest landscape photo!

    Very nice, and welcome!

Hi there Goldenorfe, you'll be really happy with the Canon 100mm,
it is a real sweet piece of glass that lens, not just for Macro either.

You've done really well with this shot, picked a great angle to shoot from too, nice focus job there too thumb.gif

You look like your doing pretty darn good to me, if you used a flash on this shot, you got the light right in the right spots.

    Image looks great!
Keep Posting, this is an Excellent first Macro Post thumb.gif ... Skippy :D
