Square Thumbnails - problems with Watermark

Just noticed in the customize page the ability to use square thumbs.
Questions - problems.

1. When I updage a gallery and change it to use square thumbs. I crop an image in the gallery to apply the change and notice only the cropped image thumb changes to a square - how do I get ALL the thumbs to be square?

2. The bigger problem is when I make the above changes my little watrmark at the bottom right gets all wacked out of proportions??

I had a gallery already set up...same as always (Square thumbnails turned off).

I turned Square thumbnails to "ON" and save. picked an image from the gallery and did a slight crop using original aspect ratio (help said I needed to perform a task like this to activate the feature). Back into the gallery - the cropped images watermark was "messed-up".

I just did the exact same steps to the image next to the original one noted with the exact same end results (and note only the cropped images thumbnail is square - none of the others in the gallery were changed?):

I tried rotating the previous image to see if this had a different effect and it worked fine....I actuallt rotaed the image back to it original setting:

....so it looks like the problem is when you crop an image trying to change it to a square thumbnail??


How do I apply the "square thumbnail" to an entire gallery at once?

Cropping alters your original on SmugMug. Use rotate, left, then right. Or use watermarking, that'll do it

Right now with existing galleries that I change the thumbs to square...only individal thumbs change - is there a way I change the entire gallery at once? Do I have to remove all watermarks and then add them back on? Something along those lines?

Yep, select all the photos and watermark,unwatermark, or rotate left/right
